Install Batzi on your phone

Batzi is a web app (PWA) that can be saved directly to your phone without an app store. In a few seconds you'll have Batzi as an app on your home screen.

iPhone & iPad

Install via Safari

  1. Open Safari

    Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad. Important: Installation only works via Safari, not Chrome or other browsers.

  2. Open Batzi website

    Navigate to the Batzi website (batzi.ch). You can log in later, installing needs no account.

  3. Tap the Share button

    Tap the share iconin Safari's bottom menu bar.

  4. Choose «Add to Home Screen»

    Scroll down in the share menu and tap «Add to Home Screen».

  5. Confirm

    Tap «Add» in the top right. Batzi will now appear as an app icon on your home screen.

Android

Install via Chrome

  1. Open Chrome

    Open Google Chrome on your Android device. Most other browsers (Samsung Internet, Edge) also support installation.

  2. Open Batzi website

    Navigate to batzi.ch. You can log in later, installing needs no account.

  3. Open menu

    Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top right of Chrome.

  4. Choose «Add to Home screen»

    Choose «Add to Home screen» or «Install app» from the menu.

  5. Confirm installation

    Tap «Install» or «Add». Batzi is now available as an app on your home screen.

No storage needed – Unlike native apps, Batzi takes up almost no storage on your device.

Always up to date – You receive updates automatically without manual action.

Secure – The app runs in a protected environment, just like in the browser.

Uninstall – Press and hold the app icon and choose «Remove» or «Uninstall».
